This is a simple t-shirt I offered to Honest Abe's for their annual shirt design contest. Instead of focusing on graphics, I chose something simple and text-based to play more on humor (hopefully).

I illustrated some of my favorite Michael Scott quotes, this is just one of many. I played a lot with layout and sizing for emphasis, as some of the quotes were longer than others and I used the same framework for them all.
This began as a pencil sketch. As a fan of greasy and unhealthy food, I wanted to celebrate the pizza slice.
I like to experiment with combining different typefaces and graphic elements, to convey a phrase or message. This is one of them.
For this design, I originally created something generic and unappealing. Later on I recreated it, leaning more into the essence of "power" and strength while also still including a sense of grace and humanity.
